Rebecca Reid recommends The Nesting Place .  Just magical - we had the most wonderful 2 nights in this idyllic shepherd’s hut. Gorgeous comfy bed, beautiful fixtures and fittings, fabulous shower and the wood fired hot tub is the icing on the cake. The view across the fields is stunning, the setting is so private and Rich is a fantastic host - the hamper waiting for us on arrival was lovely and recommendations for things to do locally was fab. We cannot rate this place highly enough and will certainly be back! Thank you so much for having us.

Aaron United KingdomReviewed: 2026-04-26Quiet, peaceful nights sleep in a lovely shepherds hut, exactly what we were looking for. Scored 1010Quiet Shepard’s hut which is surprisingly bigger than it looked from the pictures, surrounded by countryside so we had an excellent sleep in the very comfy bed. There’s loads of cutlery and cooking utensils so if you do choose to cook you shouldn’t need to bring anything with you, the owner Rich couldn’t do enough to make our stay as nice as possible including getting the wood fired hot tub going while we went out for lunch. Excellent countyside views in a segregated area of a very large garden and surrounded by wildlife, we’ll definitely be back in the future.
